Even single ingredients like tomatoes inspire all sorts of dishes for their flavor.

Tomatoes are a good source of umami flavor. Tomatoes are used in a variety of dishes, sauces, salads, and drinks, both raw and cooked.

While tomatoes are fruits — botanically categorized as berries, they are commonly used as a vegetable ingredient or side dish. Tomatoes alone have a plethora of easy recipes.

When it comes to eggs, of course, there’s no beating them in terms of versatility.
