Having a pet is a privilege.
Some people believe they deserve an animal in their life. And that it doesn’t matter what situation they’re in as long as they have someone to share it with. However, I believe that not everyone should have a pet. While I agree that having an animal companion beside you can benefit a person in the long run, we must also consider the animal and whether the individual can truly care for their pet. After all, when we buy or adopt an animal, we assume full responsibility for another being’s life. However, not everyone understands this, and they go about their lives believing they own everything.
This is especially true for people who already act entitled. That is precisely what is happening with this particular woman. It appears that when she got a dog, she didn’t realise she’d have to care for him. And by taking care of him, I mean picking up after he finishes. It may not be the most glamorous chore, but a pet owner is responsible for it. Not only that, but it’s not like she was strolling through the park, which would have been impolite, but allowing your dog to do something like this in the middle of an airport is just abhorrent. Then not even having the decency to apologise is astounding.
