Some people are willing to believe anything.
I’m sure we’ve all met people who believe that playing Dungeons and Dragons has something to do with religion. Or liking Harry Potter implies that you are a member of the s*tanic group. People are concerned about a variety of issues. However, most of us know that this is ridiculous, and DnD has nothing to do with it. It’s just a roleplaying game with your friends where you go on adventures and have a good time. It’s not as strange as some people make it out to be.
Sure, there are monsters in the game, but there are also monsters in many films and shows, so should we never watch TV? People who believe this are simply hypocrites who want to control their children and are incapable of understanding them. I wish it wasn’t this way, but it is. And this story just takes the cake because you wouldn’t think a mother would try to hurt her child over something as innocuous as this, but that is exactly what happened. Although this story appears to be a little far-fetched, you can decide for yourself whether it is made up or true.

While this may appear to be a bit far-fetched, it is not to say that crazy parents like this do not exist. While I haven’t seen one in person, we’ve seen them in the news. After all, some parents dislike it when their children do not behave like little dolls. And they will believe that it is preferable to end their life than to allow them to live a “life of sin.” I’m just glad the guy got out of there safely and won’t have to deal with his mother anymore. I’m pretty sure the mother still believes she was correct.
Apparently, people are quite suspicious of DnD.

I am not even surprised by these things anymore.

That is how a parent should be!
