Banni declares that Yuvan will be treated with the respect he deserves as the family’s oldest son and will have meals on his mother’s plate. She forces him to sit with his family and feeds him. Yuvan declares his undying love for her and gives her a taste. Banni provides him with food. Devraj is pleased, however Manini and her colleagues are not.
Manini praises Banni for her suggestion and promises that the whole family will eat together in the future. She advises Viraj and Charmi that they must apologise to Banni and Yuvan for making fun of them. Viraj expresses his regret. Manini requests that Banni speak and approve her forgiveness. Yuvan, scared, goes to his room when mother refuses to accept Viraj and Charmi’s apologies. Banni informs Devraj that his efforts were futile. Devraj believes he must do something to alleviate Yuvan’s worry.
Devraj wants to take Yuvan to a planetarium the next day while waiting for Banni. Yuvan cheerfully prepares himself and declares that he will wear a T-shirt with half moon embroidery, like his mother used to do. Myra tells Devraj that she has obtained special authorization from planetarium officials for a special showing. Banni questions Devraj on the viability of his scheme. Devraj explains that since Yuvan believes his mother is a star, they will show him a star and tell him that his mother has forgiven him. Banni believes his strategy will backfire if Yuvan discovers they lied to him.
Manini walks by and says Banni is correct since Yuvan trusts them both and would be disappointed if they lied to him. Devraj questions if he should let his son suffer and tells her to mind her own business. Banni warns Manini that she will not be swayed by her sugar-coated words. After some time, Banni and Devraj transport Yuvan to a planetarim and expose him to the stars. Banni displays a star and claims it is his mother. Devraj instructs the operator to toss balloons. Yuvan is delighted to see balloons and claims that his mother sent them.
